METHOD FOR DETECTING AND REPORTING CHANGE OF INFORMATION ON INTERNET WEB SITE REGISTERED

PURPOSE: A method for detecting and reporting a change of information on an internet web site registered is provided to reduce the time for an internet surfing by enabling a subscriber to register in an internet web site, and by automatically notifying the subscriber that a change item is detected from a server at regular intervals. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether an internet user which connects to a web site is a member(102). In case of a nonmember, the internet user is enlisted in the web site(104). The member registers an address of a web site desired(106). A server connects to the web site using the address, reads and stores data(108). A fixed time is passed(110). The server connects to the web site registered(112), and reads data(114). The server compares the data read with the data stored(116). It is checked whether the data are corresponded(118). In case that it is detected the data are changed, the server notifies the subscriber of the change(120). The server deletes the data stored and stores the data changed(122).
