PURPOSE: A method for stabilizing the output and frequency of a laser using a slap-type of waveguide laser device and a detection circuit is provided to use as a stabilization basis the change of the high frequency signal input or reflected by a photocurrent efficiency of a laser resonator. CONSTITUTION: In a method for stabilizing the output and frequency of a laser using a slap-type of wave guide laser device and a detection circuit(11), the detection circuit is connected to a connection line for connecting a high frequency generator(1) and a slap wave guide(6). The detection circuit is provided to detect a current signal due to a photocurrent efficiency generated in a laser resonator itself. The signal from the detection circuit is feedbacked and supplied to a lock-in stabilizer(8).
