APPARATUS FOR INCREASING SUBSCRIBER ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY IN CDMA SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for increasing subscriber accommodation capacity in CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) system is provided to maximize a subscriber accommodation capacity while maintaining a call quality with a low power by transmitting data signal processed with an ARQ(Automatic Repeat request) and error correction. CONSTITUTION: A data unit(210) provides data signal received from an originator to an Hamming Coding unit(220). The Hamming Coding unit(220) encodes the data signal according to an Hamming Code to provide a convolution unit(230) with the same. The data signal processed in the convolution unit(230) is transmitted to a receiving end through a modulation unit(240) and a radio channel(A). The received data signal through the radio channel(A) is demodulated in a demodulation unit(250) and provided to a convolution unit(260). The convolution unit(260) performs an error correction on the demodulated data signal to provide the same to an error detection unit(270) for requesting an automatic repeat request.
