PURPOSE: To miniaturize the precipitator boy part of an electric precipitator without deteriorating its dust collection function by using a dust collection unit mounted on the carrier of a vehicle in which an electrification part is arranged on the upstream side and a dust collection pat is arranged on the downstream side. CONSTITUTION: A dust collector body has an electrification part 22 which applies voltage to a discharge wire 22A and electrifies dust by corona discharge generated between it and an electrification part pole plate 22B and a dust collection part 23 which forms an electric between a charging pole plate 23A and a dust collecting pole plate 23B and collects the electrified dust to the pole plate 23B by Coulomb force.
