AERATED POND WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM AND PROCESS

A four-pond wastewater treatment method for controlling algae and ammonia in an effluent stream is disclosed. In order to block sunlight and control algae growth and suspended solids, a number of opaque modular cover casings 80, 81, 82, 83 float on some or all of the surface of aeration nails, settling nails and polishing nails. Attached growth biomedia is submerged in aeration ponds to promote nitriding of ammonia.
