HIGH-LINEAR HIGH POWER AMPLIFIER IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A high-linear high power amplifier in a mobile communication system is provided to maintain a high linearity in a high power state by removing inter-modulation distortion components, generated in amplifying high power, using an error generator. CONSTITUTION: A high-linear high power amplifier in a mobile communication system consists of the first loop(23-26,34-38), the second loop(27-28,42-44), and the third loop(30-31,45-47). The first loop(23-26,34-38), dividing an input signal into two, outputs the first amplification signal by amplifying one of the divided signals and generating an error. For the other divided signal, the first loop(23-26,34-38) executes attenuation and phase control, combines it with the first amplification signal, and outputs the first distortion signal free of carrier wave components. The second loop(27-28,42-44) delays the first amplification signal for a given time, executes attenuation and phase control for the first distortion signal, combines the time-delayed signal with the first distortion signal, outputs a pure carrier wave signal. The third loop(30-31,45-47) executes attenuation and phase control for the first distortion signal outputted from the first loop(23-26,34-38), combines it with the pure carrier wave signal, amplifies the combined signal at a high power, and outputs the high power amplified signal.
