SEWAGE TREATMENT METHOD BY INSTALLING WATER SURFACE CONTACT COVER IN AERATION TANK OF SEWAGE TREATING PLANT

PURPOSE: A sewage treatment method by installing a water surface contact cover in an aeration tank of a sewage treating plant is provided, which can exhibit a water temperature rise of 4 deg.C and accordingly can increase 20% in BOD removal, 50% and 80% in nitrification rate and denitrification rate, respectively. The system also has an oxygen transfer effect of 15-30%, thus saving power consumption by 6-15%. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the followings: (i) an aeration tank (3) in which air is aerated through an air blower (5) and an air distributor (4) that is installed at the bottom of the tank (3), the aeration tank (3) being sealed by a contact cover (1); (ii) a contact cover (1) that has degassing grooves at the bottom and is installed closely to the water surface for aerating the water surface to raise water temperature and increasing dissolved oxygen, thereby increasing treatment efficiency of sewage and inhibiting odorizing gas.
