METHOD FOR EXTRACTING CELL LOSS RATIO IN ATM NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for extracting cell loss ratio in an ATM network is provided to easily calculate CLR quality value of an ATM network VP/VC without additional equipments. CONSTITUTION: Using statistical data periodically generated as to each ATM-UNI interface in low-speed data exchanger, statistical data to a specific VC to be analyzed in whole statistical data of a network management system storing statistical data are extracted as a pair by using "componentName" and "remoteComponentName". Statistical data of period to be analyzed are extracted by using "timeOfRecord" field and received and transmitted cell information via ATM VC(Virtual Circuit) during specific time by using extracted statistical data. CLR(Cell Loss Ratio) quality value of the corresponding VC is calculated by using extracted statistical data with the corresponding formula.
