METHOD OF PROVIDING DYNAMIC ATM PERMANENT VIRTUAL PATH CONNECTION/PERMANENT VIRTUAL CHANNEL CONNECTION ACCORDING TO ACCESS REQUEST OF USER IN ATM PVC ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE: A method of providing dynamic ATM PVPC/PVCC according to access request of user in ATM PVC environment is provided to offer the Intranet access service by utilizing ADSL to Intranet user by using PPP protocol in backbone network on the basis of ATM PVC. CONSTITUTION: A PVC for Intranet traffic transceiving and PVC for exchanging control data between each ADSL subscriber device and a digital subscriber line access module(40) are allocated. Between the digital subscriber line access module and the ATM exchange(10), PVC made of channels for Intranet traffic transceiving and PVC made of channels for exchanging control data are allocated. A permanent virtual path made of a PVC used as a channel for control data exchange and a number of PVCs used as channels for Intranet traffic transceiving is allocated between the ATM exchange and the RAS(Remote Access Server) of each ISP(Internet Service Provider). If the ADSL subscriber makes a PVC connection request to the PVC connection management device(20) by using the control-use PVC, the PVC is connected to both ends of the ATM exchange according to the request, thus connecting to the corresponding Intranet service provider.
