PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing sintered ore is provided which has superior productivity and strength by charging the mixed and assembled returned ore into the upper layer part and the middle and lower layer parts of the bed of the sintering machine after mixing and assembling into blended raw materials for sintering by screening returned ore generated in the particle size sorting process after manufacturing sintered ore into a particle size of less than 1 mm and that of 1 mm or more. CONSTITUTION: In a method for manufacturing sintered ore in which returned ore is mixed with blended raw materials including a main raw material of iron ore, a subsidiary raw material and a fuel of coke breeze before being charged into a sintering machine, the method for manufacturing sintered ore using returned ore comprises the steps of screening the returned ore into a particle size of less than 1 mm and that of 1 mm or more; assembling the mixture after mixing the obtained returned ores having a particle size of less than 1 mm and that of 1 mm or more with the blended raw materials for sintering respectively; and charging the blended raw materials for sintering in which the returned ore having a particle size of 1 mm or more is mixed and assembled into the middle and lower layer parts in the range of 60 to 80% of the total volume of the bed of the sintering machine first, and then charging the blended raw materials for sintering in which the returned ore having a particle size of less than 1 mm is mixed into the upper layer part in the range of 20 to 40% of the total volume of the bed of the sintering machine.
