PROCESS FOR PRODUCING ARTIFICIAL WOOD MATERIAL AND ARTIFICIAL WOOD MATERIAL THEREBY

PURPOSE: A process for producing artificial wood material is provided to obtain the artificial plastic foam wood material having appearance equal to natural wood material and excellent intensity and dimension stability by means of chemical foaming process of polyolefin resin. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing the artificial plastic foam wood material comprises a first step to fuse and blend polyolefin resin and cellulose wood components in an amount of 10-100 phr and at 140-150 deg.C; a second step to add 0.5-5 phr azo-dicarbonamide and 0.5-2 phr zinc oxide to generate foam of molten mixture comprising polyolefin resin and cellulose wood components; and a third step to add 0.5-4 phr dicumyl peroxide and mixing the resultant product for 1-4 minutes then forming it into the final wood material.
