ROLL FORCE QUICK DOWN METHOD FOR REDUCING DAMAGE OF ROLLS DURING FRACTURE OF STEEL SHEET

PURPOSE: A roll force quick down method for reducing the damage of rolls during the fracture of a steel sheet is provided to improve working efficiency and productivity by minimizing damage of rolls during cross flow fracture so as to reduce basic unit of the rolls, thereby reducing manufacturing cost and shortening the time for counter measuring time for the fracture of the steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: In a method for reducing damage of rolls due to the fracture of a steel sheet generated in the stand during the continuous cold rolling operation, the roll force quick down method for reducing the damage of rolls during the fracture of a steel sheet comprises first step of setting a strength of a tension reel at the time point when the transferring steel sheet is fractured; second step of detecting whether the steel sheet is fractured when the strength of the tension reel is more than a set value; third step of switching off hyrop master of a reduction adjusting device by receiving signals of fracture of the steel sheet detected in the second step; and fourth step of full opening the roll gap by simultaneously quick opening a reduction valve to rapidly drain the oil pressure and quick downing the roll force.
