METHOD FOR ASSIGNING OF WAVELENGTH IN SDH/WDM RING

PURPOSE: A method for assigning of wavelength in a SDH/WDM ring is provided to induce the WDM equipments reduced in cost by calculating the minimum numbers of an ADM and the wavelength requested in inducing the WDM equipments. CONSTITUTION: In the method for assigning of the wavelength in the SDH/WDM ring, three progresses are included. In the first progress, the ADM node information and the route information for assigning the wavelength are input. If the information is input, in the second progress, the management of assigning the wavelength for making the SDH ADM to minimum is carried out. If the assignment of the wavelength is decided, in the third progress, numbers of SDH ADM of each node and the wavelength assigned in each optical route and numbers of the wavelength needed in a system are output to an operator.
