PURPOSE: A measuring device of error in power transfer between a reduction gear and a differential ring gear is provided to promote efficiency in design of a mechanism and to integrate measured data in a single operator by adopting an additional device for measuring error in power transfer between a reduction gear and a differential ring gear. CONSTITUTION: A measurement system of error in power transfer includes a base(12), a support plate(16) for fixing a transmission housing(14), a drive motor(20) and a worm gear(22) connected to an input shaft(18) of a transmission, an input encoder(24) for measuring RPM(Revolutions Per Minute) of the input shaft, and output encoder(28) for measuring RPM of an output shaft(26), and an error operator(30) receiving encoder signals from the two encoders. The teeth numbers of a reduction gear(32) and a differential ring gear(34) are set, and the drive motor is operated to rotate the input shaft and the output shaft of the transmission. Thereby, the reduction gear and the differential ring gear are rotated. The RPM of the reduction gear is obtained by analysis of encoder signals from the output encoder while the RPM of the other gear is obtained from analysis of encoder signal from a core encoder(40). Error in power transfer is analyzed in the error operator receiving the two kinds of encoder signals. The analyzed data are analyzed again in an FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) analyzer(44) and a phase difference operator(46).
