PURPOSE: Provided is a driving habit learning method by using an adaptive fuzzy controller, which can control the interval between cars and acceleration/deceleration according to peculiarities of individual drivers when the car is running. CONSTITUTION: The driving habit learning method using the adaptive fuzzy controller comprises the steps of: a first step(S100) for judging the speed of the ones own car and the speed of the front car and then judging the distance between the cars; a second step(S200) for collecting and pretreating the result of the first step(S100) during a fixed time; a third step(S300) for storing the result of the second step(S200) as learning data in a rule base; a forth step(S400) for reading the stored data by fuzzy controlling according to the speed and distance of the front car; a fifth step(S500) for accelerating or decelerating the ones car by the read data of the forth step(S400).
