APPARATUS FOR CLAMPING STRIP INSIDE BRIGHT ANNEALING FURNACE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for clamping a strip inside a bright annealing furnace is provided in which the strip is removed and repassed through in a short time by coiling the strip inside a facility in a roll box in the state that the cover of the roll box is not opened. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a holding part consisting of semicircular shaped upper and lower holding members (10) positioned between guide rolls (103) in a roll box and oppositely directed to the upper and lower parts of a strip, upper and lower link members (11) rotationally coupled to the tips of both sides of the upper and lower holding members (10) by a hinge axis, a connecting bracket (12) to which the free ends of the upper and lower link members (11) is rotationally coupled, a rotation axis (13) fixed to the connecting bracket (12) and projected to the outer side of the roll box, and a driving cylinder (15) connected to one side of the rotation axis (13), pulling the rotation axis, thereby holding the strip; and a coiling part consisting of a step motor (20) connected to other side of the rotation axis (13), thereby rotating the rotation axis (13) for coiling the strip, an axis member rotationally installed to the roll box in the axis direction of the guide roller, a roll member (22) fixed to the axis member, a pressing roll (23) rotationally installed at the tip of the roll member (22) and adhered closely to the guide roll, an air motor (24) installed at one side of the roll member (22) for driving the pressing roll (23), a lever (25) having a certain length adhered to the tip of one side of the axis member from the outer side of the roll box, and an operating cylinder (26) hinge jointed to the roll member and the tip of the lever for rotating the axis member, wherein the strip is pulled up from the body of a furnace for being removed by coiling the strip.
