PURPOSE: A measuring apparatus of thickness, shape and flatness of rolling steel plate by phase arrangement type eddy current sensor is provided to minimize occurrence of measuring error by using a phase arrangement type eddy current sensor not to be affected by water. CONSTITUTION: A unit sensor head(3) is arranged in one or more than a combined single arrangement or a phase arrangement structure to measure thickness, shape and flatness of a rolling steel plate at an upper part and lower part of rolling steel plate. A signal amplification circuit part(37) amplifies signal measured at the unit sensor head(3). A linearization circuit part(40) linearizes signal which is output from the signal amplification circuit part(37). A delay time control part(32) delays signal passed through the linearization circuit part(40) and generates an eddy current at the surface of the rolling steel plate. A digital signal processing part(41) processes things which made a signal processing an eddy current generated at the surface of the rolling steel plate with a digital signal. A measuring apparatus of thickness, shape and flatness of the rolling steel plate includes computer to measure thickness, shape and flatness of the rolling steel plate using the digital signal.
