PURPOSE: A bus stop information broadcasting apparatus and a bus arrival time information apparatus are provided to inform passengers awaiting buses of bus arrival time correctly by using bus location information and transportation information. CONSTITUTION: The bus stop information broadcasting apparatus includes a distance calculator, a bus stop storage, a GPS receiver, a reference location storage, an output reset member, the bus locator(300) and a broadcaster(400). The distance calculator measures the distance of the bus trip. The bus stop storage stores information corresponding to the location of the bus stops. The GPS(global positioning system) receiver receives a signal from a GPS satellite and calculates the first bus location. The reference location storage stores at least one reference locations with a calculation error less than a predetermined threshold value. The output reset member resets the output of the distance calculator when the first bus location corresponds to one of the reference locations. The bus locator calculates the second bus location using the output of the distance calculator and the reference location. The broadcaster broadcasts information when the second bus location corresponds to a predetermined bus stop information broadcasting location.
