PURPOSE: Angelica tenuissima jelly is provided by jellify the powder or the extract of Angelica tenuissima. Therefore, one can take easily the active principles of Angelica tenuissima in a jelly-type. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing Angelica tenuissima jelly comprises the steps of: (i) a first step to pulverize dried Angelica tenuissima 12-14g and extract in 65-75% ethanol; (ii) a second step to extract again the residue of extracted Angelica tenuissima in 45-55% ethanol to obtain the ingredients that melt in ethanol and water; (iii) a third step to extract lastly in water, and mix all extracted; (iv) a fourth step to concentrate with decompression to obtain extracted solution 1.0-1.5L, add gelatin 4-10g and additives 35-55g such as sugar or honey; and (v) fifth step to heat and then put in a forming mold and cool. If the powder of Angelica tenuissima is used instead of its extract, it should be pulverized in 150-250mesh and heated after being mixed.
