RECOVERY AND BACK-UP SYSTEM AND THE METHOD USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system and a method for recovery and backup are provided to recover a system or data using a flash memory controller in which an operation system and a backup/restoration software are stored in case that there's a loss in the system and the data area by a physical damage or an operator's mistake. CONSTITUTION: A backup and restoration system is composed of a hard disk(100), a backup hard disk(200) and a flash memory controller(300). In case that a setting is performed using a flash memory, an operation system and data are stored in the backup hard disk(200). Data are recovered using the backup hard disk(200) by a restoration program stored in the flash memory controller(300). In case that a computer isn't booted according to a physical failure of the hard disk(100), a jumper of the backup hard disk(200) is changed into a master. In case that the computer is booted with the flash memory controller(300), the backup hard disk(200) can be used as the hard disk(100).
