It is an object of the present invention to provide a natural physiologically active substance having an oral effect on fish diseases such as fish virus, bacterium, parasitism and the like and a feed for fishes containing the present substance.;The above substances are natural physiologically active substances which are effective for fatty acids having 6 to 12 carbon atoms and, if necessary, fish diseases containing a substance having vitamin C activity again. The fish diseases described above are parasitic, bacterial, and viral infections. The fatty acids having 6 to 12 carbon atoms are capric acid, caprylic acid, and feraric acid.;The present invention also relates to a feed or a feed additive containing a natural physiologically active substance in an appropriate concentration effective for parasitism of 0.25 wt% or so.
