PURPOSE: A base rock cutting method using an oil hydraulic cylinder type vibrationless and noiseless rock cutter is provided to reduce vibration and noise generated in cutting a base rock, prevent the cut base rock from being scattered in every directions, and prevent secondary vibration and noise generated in separating the cut base rock. CONSTITUTION: A base rock cutting method using an oil hydraulic cylinder type vibrationless and noiseless rock cutter includes the steps of boring many bored holes(20) of the size capable of inserting an operational part(6) of the rock cutter at the base rock or other obstacle in a straight line, inserting the operational part of the rock cutter into the bored holes, supplying oil pressure to the operational part for pistons(6a) of the operational part to widen a cap(8) of an upper end from the operational part, so that the bored holes are expanded to form a cut line(22) between the bored holes, and taking the cut rock out from a mother rock with a nipper along the cut line.
