Authentication method for operator grade and command level in ATM Switch

PURPOSE: A method for authenticating operator degree and command in ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) exchange is provided to prevent previously a control command from a non-authorized operator and increase a security by dynamically monitoring and controlling a connecting status of operator. CONSTITUTION: A network is initialized(S21), and waits for inputting a connection from an application program(S22). If the connection is suitable for a condition(S23), client process information for session management is registered in a server(S24). The server checks that a user login is appropriate(S25), and transmits a result of the checking to a client(S26). The server determines that the user is suitable(S27). If so, the server registers information for the current user(S28). If a login procedure is appropriate(S44), the client stores an authentication key value(S45). If the transmitted key value is appropriate(S29), a corresponding command is executed(S30). After executing, the result data is transmitted to an information receiving module in the client(S31).
