PURPOSE: A device and a method of presuming a transformation matrix using an image characteristic point matching are provided to detect a characteristic point among the images in multiple images, match a characteristic point among the images and presume the transformation matrix based on the result. CONSTITUTION: In a device of presuming a transformation matrix using an image characteristic point matching, the first characteristic point matching device(200) inputs multiple images from the external and matches an image characteristic point. The first transformation matrix presumption device(210) presumes a transformation matrix using the characteristic point matched from the first characteristic point matching device. A reference image selection device(220) selects a reference image using the relations of the respective transformation matrixes presumed from the first transformation matrix presumption device. A transformation matrix correction device(230) sets the image coordinate system of the selected reference image as a reference coordinate system and corrects the transformation matrix to the transformation matrix for the reference coordinate system.
