LCD Image Control System with Data Statistical Functions

PURPOSE: An LCD image control system using data statistical function is provided, which uses a data statistical function as to data distribution controlling a medium variable of an ADC(Analog Digital Converter) converter unit accurately. CONSTITUTION: An analog/digital converter(ADC)(10) converts an analog input image signal into a digital image signal. An image scale unit(20) scales up and down the image, and performs an interpolation on the digital image signal to output the result of scale up/down to a digital display device. A data statistical unit(40) analyzes signal distribution output from the ADC unit. And a control unit(30) controls the ADC unit, the image scale unit and the data statistical unit. The data statistical unit comprises a multiplexer selecting R, G or B signal of the ADC unit as an input signal statistically according to a selection signal, and a comparator comparing the statistical input signal with a threshold value and to output the comparison result, and a counter counting the comparison result and outputting the statistical value.
