SOFT START SCHEME FOR RESONANT CONVERTERS HAVING VARIABLE FREQUENCY CONTROL

The resonant mode power supply includes a soft start circuit for sweeping the frequency of the power supply from the maximum value to the minimum value at startup. The soft start circuit performs this frequency sweep using the function f (x) = 1-e ^-t . Using this function, the frequency variation, and thus the increase of the output voltage, decreases over time, whereby the feedback circuit of the resonant mode power supply can be applied to the level of the output voltage when the output voltage reaches the desired adjustment level. Allow to respond and start tuning. Thus, the overshoot of the output voltage relative to the adjustment level is reduced even if not eliminated.
