Method to provide service of medical journal on Internet

PURPOSE: A method for providing medical journals through the Internet is provided to transmit a moving picture, related to a selected item among the contents of an electronic medical journal, to a user PC so that the user can obtain a profound piece of information through the transmitted moving picture. CONSTITUTION: A medical journal site stores moving pictures related to an electronic medical journal in a database(S210). The medical journal site puts link information into each item having moving picture information(S220). If a user accesses the medical journal site through the Internet using his computer, the medical journal site transmits the electronic journal to the user computer(S230). If the user clicks on an item to watch a desired moving picture, the link information associated with the clicked item is transmitted to the medical journal site(S240). The medical journal site requests the database to find out moving picture information corresponding to the transmitted link information. After searching for moving picture information, based on the link information, the database sends searched moving picture information to the medical journal site. The medical journal site transmits this moving picture information to the user computer(S250). The relevant moving picture is displayed on the screen of the user computer monitor(S260).
