PURPOSE: A system and method for a credit card discount payment is provided for a discount payment service applicant to receive a discount profit by approving a transaction by applying a discount rate with respect to a member store without a paying commission. CONSTITUTION: A user system includes a user server(32) and a user monitor(34) operated by a credit card possessor(30). The user system and each credit card company are connected through the Internet. Credit card company servers(50,58,66), credit card company member DBs(52,60,68), and credit card company member store DBs(54,62,70) are provided in the credit card companies(48,56,64). Credit card information of a credit card discount payment service applicant is classified with that of the member store and stored in the credit card company member DBs(52,60,68) through the Internet. Member store information of a credit card discount payment service applying company is classified with that of the general member store and stored in the credit card company member store DBs(54,62,70). A member store system is connected to a VAN company(72) through a telephone network, the VAN company(72) is connected to the credit card companies(48,56,64) through a packet network.
