PURPOSE: A general purpose computer hacking prevention and electronic/mechanical password lock security system using an input time difference between each character information of a password is provided to maximize the security of security systems by setting time information between input characters to a security system and checking input characters and time information at the same time when a user inputs a password to release the locking of the security system. CONSTITUTION: If a user inputs a new password in line with to an arbitrary time interval after pushing a password change button, the password is stored in an E¬2PROM. An input buffer inputs an input value, generated when a keypad is pushed, in a buffer, and inputs time information, required until the next character is pushed, according to a given rule. If a password is inputted to open a security system as input is started, a controller receives the password previously inputted in the E¬2PROM and time information mechanically set in a TIMER. Then the controller compares the previously inputted password with the currently inputted password through a sequential comparator. In case that a time error or a character symbol error between the previously inputted password and the currently inputted password is generated, the sequential comparator judges that the currently inputted password is false, and prohibits the opening of the security system.
