PURPOSE: Provided is a novel microorganism, soil Streptomyces ND002, which has excellent decomposability of hardly decomposable compounds. And, its separation method is also provided. CONSTITUTION: Soil Streptomyces ND002 (KFCC-11145) is excellent in the decolorization of New Fuchin and oxidation of 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP), and produces an extra cellular enzyme that has similar features to Actinomyceteslignin peroxidase-P3(ALiP-P3). It is separated by the steps of: taking a soil sample followed by drying it at room temperature for a week and diluting it with 10 mL of distilled water; stirring the diluted soil sample then smearing the supernatant on an agar medium containing casein 0.4g, starch 0.1g, potassium nitrate 0.5g, potassium phosphate 0.2g, magnesium phosphate 0.1g, calcium carbonate 0.1g, agar 15g and distilled water 1 L; culturing it at 30 deg.C for a week; selecting approximately 50 colonies and re-culturing then in a CF agar plate containing 200 ppm of Congo-Red and 50 ppm of New Fuchin; selecting a strain showing decolorization of New Fuchin on the plate and depositing it as Soil Streptomyces ND002 (KFCC-11145).
