PURPOSE: An internet intellectual property rights intermediating system and method are provided to activate a contact between a possessor of an intellectual property right and a person who needs the intellectual property right. CONSTITUTION: A rightful person database(20) stores information of a rightful person of an intellectual property right. A consumer database(30) stores information of a consumer of the intellectual property right. A web server(61) displays a homepage screen when a user accesses the internet intellectual property rights intermediate system. An information registration server(64) controls it when a user inputs a desired technique field. A searching server(63) contacts the user with a rightful person or a consumer when the user inputs a desired technique field. A question and answer server(62) provides patent information or financial information to the user in a question and answer method when the user asks patent information or financial information. A patent information database(40) stores patent information. A financial database(50) stores foundation and tax information.
