摘要

PURPOSE: A device for the I/O(Input/Output) extension module of the device-net is provided to use the extended I/O tag by increasing the number of the I/O extension module of the device-net, and to raise the speed of the I/O data by reforming the connection of the I/O extension module from serial to parallel structure. CONSTITUTION: A master module(10) generates and outputs an EXCESS, communication allow signal, and an ID, identification control signal of a slave module. The first slave module(20) with two bits identification number for distinguishing slave modules becomes enable by the EXCESS of the master module, controls the I/O tag by the ID of the master module, and generates the ID for the next slave module. The second slave module(30) with two bits identification number for distinguishing slave modules becomes enable by the EXCESS of the first slave module, controls the I/O tag by the ID of the first slave module, and generates the ID for the next slave module. The third, fourth slave module(40,50) takes the same procedure that the first and second slave module did. The first, second, third, fourth slave module are composed of GAL(Gate Array Logic) which includes a decoder and ID identifier. The decoder controls the I/O tag by receiving the ID of the master module, and generates and outputs the ID for controlling the next slave module. The ID identifier receives the ID output from the decoder.
