PURPOSE: A method for managing a material freight market using the internet is provided to operate a material freight market by using an auction method through internet. CONSTITUTION: A shipper clicks an auction application after executing a process of log-in(S11). The shipper selects one of an auction menu(S12). The shipper registers an auction freight after inputting a point of departure, a destination, the amount of freight, and a path of freight(S13). An auction number is assigned and details of the freight are displayed(S14). The shipper confirms the auction number and the details of the freight(S15,S16). A shipping agent participates in tender after executing a process of log-in(S17). The details of the auction freight are displayed on a screen(S18). The shipping agent inputs a tender freight and a tender condition(S19). The shipper examines details of the tender and selects a proper shipping agent(S20,S21).
