PURPOSE: A monitoring/control network satellite link apparatus for a pager data satellite transmission station system and a method therefor are provided to easily collect control and state information of a remote station by transmitting and receiving monitoring and control data between a central office and the remote station through a satellite network. CONSTITUTION: A hub satellite link controller(6) processes a control instruction obtained in a CCB(Central Control Block)(2) for collecting state information of a central office and a remote station and transmitting collected state information to a network management system through a satellite protocol and outputs the processed control instruction. The hub satellite link controller(6) processes remote station data received through a central office transceiver(7) and transmits the processed remote station data to the CCB(2). The central office transceiver(7) modulates the transmission data transmitted from the hub satellite link controller(6) as a satellite signal and transmits the modulated transmission data to a central office antenna(8). Remote station transceivers(11,11') receive central control data transmitted through a satellite through remote station antennas(10,10') and demodulate the received central control data, and modulate management and state information of a remote station and transmit modulated management and state information to the remote station antennas(10,10'). Remote satellite line controllers(12,12') interface receipt control data obtained in the remote station transceivers(11,11') to RCBs(Remote Control Blocks)(1,1') and interface transmission data obtained in the RCBs(1,1') to the remote station transceivers(11,11').
