INSTALLATION TOOL AND INSTALLATION METHOD FOR LIVE LINE OVERHEAD GROUND WIRE

PURPOSE: An installation tool and method is provided to prevent power outage by allowing for an uninterrupted live line installation work. CONSTITUTION: An installation tool comprises a wire cover(5) and an insulator cover(4) for protecting a very high voltage power line and insulator; an insulating arm(7) installed at an end of a very high voltage power line arm; an overhead ground wire temporary support(9) installed at an end of the insulating arm in such a manner that the overhead ground wire support is directed upward; a wire roller(12) for performing stranding work for the overhead ground wire; and a live line vise for holding the overhead ground wire to an electric pole. An installation method comprises a first step of installing an overhead ground wire support(6) at the top of the electric pole by using a working vehicle; a second step of temporarily installing the insulating arm and overhead ground wire temporary support at an end of an existing very high voltage power line arm; a third step of temporarily installing the overhead ground wire to the overhead ground wire temporary support at the state where the very high voltage power line is spaced apart by 2m or more; and a fourth step of performing a main cable working by using the working vehicle.
