The present invention relates to conformationally restored peptide homologues as platelet aggregation inhibitors. These compounds inhibit the binding of fibrinogen to the platelet GPIIb-IIIa integrin receptor, which inhibits platelet aggregation, and these compounds act as potent antithrombotic agents.
