SEWAGE TREATMENT METHOD OF BATCH TYPE ACTIVATED SLUDGE PROCESS USING SEMI-CONTINUOUS INPUT AND INTERMITTENT AERATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A sewage treatment method of batch type activated sludge process using semi-continuous input and intermittent aeration method is provided, which can comply with wastewater fluctuations in quantity and quality at a fixed volume of treatment tank by adopting semi-continuous input or intermittent input, by adopting intermittent aeration and by changing operating mode, thus maximizing treatment capacity of nitrogen and phosphorus. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the following steps: (i) feed sewage or wastewater intermittently or semi-continuously to a fixed volume of aeration tank; (ii) when the wastewater input is not coincide with the design basis, intermittently repeatedly aerate by one of the operation mode that is selected from a No.2 operation mode uses 2 cycles a day, a No.3 operation mode that uses 3 cycles a day, a No.4 operation mode that uses 4 cycles a day, a No. 5 operation mode that uses 6 cycles a day and when the wastewater input is well coincide with the design basis, decide if removing of nitrogen and phosphorus is required and if necessary, operate by one the mode that consists of No.2 mode that uses 2 cycles a day, No.3 mode that uses 3 cycles a day, No.4 mode that uses 4 cycles a day or No.5 mode that uses 6 cycles a day; (iii) settle; and (iv) discharge.
