PURPOSE: Polyester partially drawn yarn for high-speed spinning and a manufacturing method thereof are provided which are characterized by not arising noils, having excellent spinning property, preventing nonhomogeneity of physical property of polyester polymer, having excellent dyeability on normal pressure and not deteriorating strength. CONSTITUTION: The polyester partially drawn yarn is obtained by a process containing the steps of: activating 4-5mol of dimethyl adipate based on 1mol of chain branching agent, pentaerythritol on a polyester polymerization to produce compound of formula(I); adding 10-50mol of ethylene glycol(EG) to the activated material, and activating to produce polyester modifier of formula(II); and then throwing the modifier on a polyester polymerizing process. An input of the polyester modifier, pentaerythritol is 1-20MEQ per 1g of polyester polymer. An input of dimethyl adipate is 0.029-0.730 per 1g of polyester polymer. Spinning velocity of the polyester partially drawn yarn is 3500-5000mpm.
