PURPOSE: Provided is a 'Cute' plant belonging to a new variety of a tropical orchid Cymbidium, which supplies a superior new variety of a tropical orchid Cymbidium in white color to customers at low price in large quantities by crossover of conventional tropical orchid Cymbidium as parent generation. CONSTITUTION: A germ free seed out of juvenile form seeds is germinated and an apex of a stem is then cut and taken. Thereafter, the apex of a stem is cultivated. Finally, a cultivated Mericlone is subcultured through 3 generations. A juvenile form seed of Cymbidium is germinated under germ free state in a modified culture medium, in which a ratio of ions of SO4-2m Ca+2, NH4+1 is reduced and a ratio of ions of K+1 is increased and raised by fertilizing management. The juvenile form seed is obtained by crossing a Marternalline and a Nana line as parent generation. The seed is sterilized in 10Ca(CLO)2 solution for 20 minutes, soaked in distilled water, and precipitated by using a magnetic stirrer.
