METHOD FOR EXPANDING TRANSACTION ISOLATION PHASE IN DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for expanding a transaction isolation phase in a database management system is provided to promote the efficiency of application by enabling a user to select a transaction isolation phase relevant to application. CONSTITUTION: After a transaction starts a transaction(51), a writing operation for data is operated. A writing lock for the data is obtained for preventing another transaction from performing a reading/writing operation for the data(52). The transaction is terminated(53). A transaction starts a transaction(61). After that, the transaction(T2) performs a reading operation for the data. The reading operation of the transaction is performed after the writing operation of the transaction. An operation for another data is performed(63).
