FIELD: construction engineering; dormer windows and frames. SUBSTANCE: sheet metal cover part for dormer window frames whose side surfaces of main frame are perpendicular to surrounding parts of roof surface has angle joint built integral with the former of bent sheet metal and first pair of wall sections for covering end portions of side parts which are perpendicular to each other, second pair of wall sections for covering parts of roof surface adjacent to mentioned side parts of main frame, and angle section for filling up space between mentioned wall sections of second pair. First and second pairs of wall sections and angle section are formed from same sheet blank; parts of sheet material other than those of mentioned wall sections and mentioned angle section are partially bent to form two double-layer planar folds and double-layer triangular fold between angle section and mentioned first pair of wall sections. Double-layer folds are parallel to roof surface and perpendicular to each other; they are placed between mentioned angle section and mentioned second pair of wall sections.
