FIELD: production of composite mixes prepared from ground vegetable raw material, mainly, from wood waste, mineral binders, applicable for manufacture of building wood-composite materials by moulding of raw material mixes. SUBSTANCE: ground filler of vegetable origin is dried up in a drier for stabilization (averaging) of the content of the water phase and fed to a reactor - mixer for production of moulding material. The slime of production of metallic magnesium from the stage of dewatering in the form of ingots is ground with subsequent milling to a dispersity of 50-150 μm, the content of active components (MgCl2 and MgO) is determined, and used as a magnesium - containing binder. The filler of vegetable origin in the reactor-mixer is mixed first with the rated amount of water, and then the rated amount of mineral binder (100-120% of the mass of the absolutely dry filler) providing for ratio MgCl2:MgO:H2O=1:1.26-1.38:1.14-2.65. The obtained moulding material is moulded and subjected to hot runner moulding in an extruding press at pressure from 80 to 100 atm. The ingredients of the moulding material are present in the compound at the following ratio, in terms of the absolutely dry filler, mass number: ground filler of vegetable origin, 100; waste of production of metallic magnesium by the electrolytic method in the form of ground dry slime, 100-120; water, 50-56.
