FIELD: real-time monitoring of water and oil conveying pump-and-pipeline systems. SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in each pump station of system that has centrifugal pumps and pipelines, flowmeters and pressure gages are following pieces of equipment: data center incorporating microprocessor controller, modem, and control unit; data management center incorporating computer, modem, and communication processor included in data transmission network; each pump unit is provided with pressure sensors mounted at its input and output for measuring pressure drop within unit, static power transducers for measuring active power consumed by drive motor of each pump unit, and pressure sensors installed at inlet and outlet of main pipeline section under control.
