FIELD: prospecting for oil and gas fields. SUBSTANCE: seismic signal is excited and recorded by standard methods. Seismic data with maximum attenuation of noise and preservation of primary seismic field are processed. Scattered component is isolated by way of additional suppression of regular reflected and multiple waves. Energy and spectral characteristics and degree of irregularity of seismic signals of scattered component are determined. Jointing and cavernous zones are isolated by anomalous values of above-mentioned parameters. EFFECT: raised efficiency of prospecting in rock mass. 4 dwg
