FIELD: method and device for production of plasma of electric-arc discharge and its use for application of coating on the supporting structure. SUBSTANCE: separated plasma of an electric-arc discharge is produced with the use of an electric-arc discharge on a cold cathode by passing it through a curvilinear plasma guide. The mentioned plasma is produced inside the curvilinear plasma guide, and electric current is passed through it in the longitudinal direction producing a magnetic field that is homogeneous in length, thus providing for application of a high-quality coating by spraying.
