The tap swirl comprises a pipe (1) connectable to the water supply, a hose and an operating valve as well as a hand swirl (4) attachable to the hose. The operating valve (3) is at the supply connection end of the hose (2) and has a control lever (7) attached at one end to the valve and at the other to the hose. When the tap swirl is pulled in the longitudinal extension from the hose connection the control lever (7) is swivelled and the operating valve (3) is opened and the spring (5) which coaxially encloses the hose near the pipe is pretensioned.
