The device for transfer of printed sheets (6) on a circulating conveyor device comprises several spaced apart accommodation rungs one behind the other fixed on to tractive components. The conveyor component (11) has printed sheet accommodation pockets (4) circulating in the same direction. The accommodation pockets for formation of an entry aperture for the printed sheets are controllable in the open or closure position. Each accommodation pocket has a draw-in device securing the sheets reaching the area of their entry apereture and conveying them into the pocket. The conveyor component is formed with a nave rotating around a horizontal axis (10). The end of the accommodation pocket turned away from the entry aperture is formed as an inner stop.
