The air circulation system includes electric fan motors (10) for several air circulation fans. The fans are controlled via control signals provided in dependence on the required air circulation characteristics within the RAID plane. A measuring circuit (14) may include a temperature sensor which detects the temperature in the RAID plane and a humidity sensor detects the humidity in the RAID plane, fed to a processor unit (2). Electrical control signals are provided for the fan motors, when preset temperature and humidity thresholds are exceeded.
