Fast mounting assembly for a tower crane

The rotary tower crane has a quick-assembly group of components (16,17) that can be attached with at least one chassis axle (18,19) whose length corresponds to the width of the crane. A motor (24) is located on the quick-assembly component group to drive a chassis axle, and is coupled to the chassis axle via a clutch (25). The driven axle has a differential (31). The motor is coupled to the axle via at least one step-down gearbox. A step-down gearbox is inserted in the drive train and is designed preferably as a worm wheel gearbox.
