Composite structure of a depth filter layer with a filter sheet and method for the production of the composite

Production of a composite of a deep filter layer (1) having a filter sheet (2) made of liquid-permeable but solids-tight paper comprises placing at least two filter layers and two filter sheets together in an alternating manner, aligning each edge (3, 4) flush to each other and pressing together along the edges. An adhesive layer is thinly applied to these edges while maintaining the pressure. The pressure is released after hardening/drying the adhesive layer. The filter layers are then removed from the stack.
